How can I get to Mammoth Lakes by train?

Amtrak doesn't offer service all the way to Mammoth, but you can hop on a bus in either Reno or near Los Angeles and complete the final leg of your trip to Mammoth via bus route.

• Reno: The California Zephyr connects Chicago to San Francisco with stops in Denver, Reno, and many more cities along the way. From Reno, catch the bus down to Mammoth. More info on the California Zephyr.
• Los Angeles: The Coast Starlight links Seattle to Los Angeles where you can catch a bus up the 395 and along the Eastern Sierra to Mammoth. More info on the Coast Starlight.
• Merced: The San Joaquin Line offers service from San Francisco through central California, connecting Sacramento to Bakersfield. The easiest hopping off point to visit Yosemite or Mammoth is in Merced where you can catch a bus through the park. More info on the San Joaquin Valley Train.
