Lee Vining is a small town, but due to its proximity to Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park, there are several motels and B & B’s in town. It is also close to ample camping and RV facilities. Restaurant options are limited, especially during winter, when many close.

Lee Vining is minutes away from many outdoor recreation opportunities including Yosemite National Park and Mono Lake. It’s also a quick drive to Virginia Lakes and Mammoth. Popular activities include hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, fishing, and camping.

To get to Lee Vining from Mammoth, take US-395 north for 29 miles. Along the way stop to explore the June Lakes Loop.
