Mammoth Lakes Free Shuttle/Trolley Service

The Mammoth Lakes free shuttle and trolley service offers convenient transportation within and around town.

Eastern Sierra Transit

Offering service to Mammoth Lakes year-round. The northern route links Mammoth to Reno. The southern route provides access to Bishop, Lone Pine, and Lancaster.

  • Rates: Northern Route is $46/Adult. Southern Route is $39/Adult.
  • Schedules: Round-trip service is offered once a day on each route on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Reservations recommended.

Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS)

YARTS provides access between Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite via Highway 120 and Tioga Pass during the summer months only. Destinations include Merced, Catheys Valley, Mariposa, Midpines, El Portal, Yosemite Valley, Mammoth Lakes, June Lakes, Lee Vining, Tuolumne Meadows, and White Wolf.

  • Rates: Rates range from $4 - $25 dollars depending on your age, whether you purchase a one way or round trip ticket, as well where you board and where you plan to depart. All buses bound for Yosemite include gate fees.
  • Schedules: Buses begin operating at 5:45am and finish running at 11:00pm. Depending on the route, buses operate in intervals ranging from 30 minutes to several hours apart.
