Mammoth Lakes Free Shuttle/Trolley Service

The Mammoth Lakes free shuttle and trolley service offers convenient transportation within and around town.

Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS)

YARTS provides year round access to the park on Highway 140 through Mariposa County. During Summer operation, when Highway 120 is open, you can also access the park from the east side. On the Highway 140 Route, destinations include Merced, Catheys Valley, Mariposa, Midpines, El Portal, and Yosemite Valley. From Highway 120, destinations include Mammoth Lakes, June Lakes, Lee Vining, Tuolumne Meadows, and White Wolf.

  • Rates: Rates range from $4 - $25 dollars depending on your age, whether you purchase a one way or round trip ticket, as well where you board and where you plan to depart. All buses bound for Yosemite include gate fees.
  • Schedules: Buses begin operating at 5:45am and finish running at 11:00pm. Depending on the route, buses operate in intervals ranging from 30 minutes to several hours apart.
