Overview

Travel back to 1927 with a visit to the Mammoth Museum at Hayden Cabin. One of the first visitor accommodations in Mammoth, the cabin was built to serve as a bed and breakfast as well as hunting and fishing lodge. Now visitors are treated to period artifacts and photographs. Highlights include period kitchen equipment, original period furniture, historic photographs, and period postcards.

Hours/Seasons

Hayden Cabin is open seasonally, from Memorial Day through the end of September. Hours are 10am to 1 and 2 - 6pm, daily. Dates can vary depending on snow pack, so call the museum for the most accurate information.
