Overview: For the past thirty-four years, since 1968, motocross takes center stage in Mammoth Lakes, California for one weekend in June. And what a race it is. Carved into the forests, this world-class track is 8,000 feet high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

Stated by Don Rake and some of his friends in the beginning, it soon received the support of Dave McCoy and the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. Over the years, the actual track has changed a few times, but it is still just as much fun as it ever was. Every summer motorcycle enthusiasts travel to Mammoth to either participate or be a spectator at this oldest continuous running motocross in the USA.
Professional racers and amateurs alike come to enjoy all that the area has to offer in addition to one of the best motocross tracks in the west.
