Overview: Starting out as a little jazz festival in 1989, the Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee has become a musical attraction that draws over 20 jazz bands each year in July. Young musicians from the annual jazz camp at Mammoth Lake also perform at the jubilee. These outdoor performances are supported by the National Endowment of the Arts and the California Arts Council. The four days of the jubilee resonates with the sounds of traditional and other big-band jazz selections.
