Mammoth Lakes' Labor Day Festival of the Arts is set amidst the beautiful fall colors of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Fine art booths, Native American artists, wine tasting, a food court and a blue grass band all make for a gala time in the fall.

Mono Arts Council, a non-profit organization will present its 47th annual Labor Day Festival of the Arts September 2-5, 2016 in Mammoth Lakes, CA.  Set high among the pines, this world class Festival provides fairgoers a beautiful viewing and buying experience. 

Over the course of 4 days, visitors and residents of Mammoth Lakes will enjoy 110+ exhibiting visual artists, sample international food, local craft beers and wine, listen to live musical performances and entertain families with kid's art workshops.  The quality of the participating juried artists contributes to the Festival's continued recognition as the premiere visual art show in the Eastern Sierra.

Overview: Food, music and fun blend together at the Labor Day Festival of the Arts in Mammoth Lakes, California. Meander into any of the 100 fine art booths as the music of the Sierra Studebaker Bluegrass Band fills the air or stroll through the Native American Village and watch hoop dancing and other cultural sights celebrating the artistry of the Native American culture. Taste some of California's best wines and enjoy foods from around the world. Visit displays of handmade clothing and furniture, paintings, metal art, landscape photography and many other exhibits of craftwork in this beautiful forest setting.

Details:  In connection with the festival, families can learn the joys of fishing as the Troutstock fishing event is held at the time as the festival. 

Mammoth Lakes, California just off US Highway 395 and about 32 miles south of the east entrance to Yosemite National Park.
