Festival of Trees

Mammoth Lakes, nestled in Eastern California's Sierra National Forest is the site of many festivals and events. The Annual Festival of Trees highlights the winter schedule. Held at the Mammoth Ski Museum, this silent and live auction of Christmas trees, gifts and other holiday offerings is an enjoyable night's outing for the Christmas season.

Christmas trees, wreaths/wall hangings, centerpieces/table runners will be on display at the Phillips County Museum in Malta.

  • Auction items include vacation packages, gifts, wreaths and more

Overview: The Festival of Trees at Mammoth Lakes, California adds another dimension to the Christmas spirit. A collection of trees are presented with a full complement of gifts to go such as wreaths, gingerbread houses, travel packages and other holiday treasures.

Details: The proceeds from the auction are donated for medical purposes. The trees are decorated to a preset theme which is sometimes the title to a well known Christmas Carol. The accompanying gifts follow the same theme. The spirit of giving punctuates the evening and the unique flavor of holiday color and decorations makes it a perfect family, Christmas outing.
