Bishop Mule Days
One of the most unique rodeo events in the country has to be the Bishop Mule Days Celebration held at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Bishop, California. Held each year on Memorial Day, the event last for five days and includes stage performances by Country Western singing stars, dances and arts and crafts displays.

Mule owners show off their mules in a rodeo type competition. Sometimes the competition is a test of skills and other times more like a Wild West show. The mules race, jump and work cattle while their trainers and riders participate in shoeing competitions, chariot racing and team roping.
